Dove launched their #SpeakBeautiful campaign with Twitter at the Oscars to promote a positive body image among women. Throughout the night, Dove tweeted out stats on the use of negative words and with their campaign response in ways to “speak beautiful”
Over 30K tweets were sent using the hashtag or mentioning Dove on Sunday
Ninety percent of users using the hashtag #SpeakBeautiful are women and 51% of them are between the ages of 35 and 54. The men tweeting about this campaign are slightly younger than the women.
Users tweeting with this campaign are 27x more likely to like Dove compared to the average Twitter audience.
Dove’s partner, Twitter, is the 3rd favorite brand among this audience.
