#PizzaHasChanged-See Who Tweeted About Pizza Hut’s Latest Promotion

Recently, Pizza Hut introduced new pizzas. As part of the announcement, Pizza Hut bought the promoted hashtag on Twitter, #PizzaHasChanged.

Promoted tweets and contest via their Twitter account followed throughout the day using the hashtag.

Women were more excited about the announcement, our analysis of the hashtag showed 56.4% of tweeters were women, 43.6% were men.

This promotion was popular with a younger audience 1/5 of tweeters were between the ages 18–25 and 1/3 of tweeters were between the ages 25–34.

Texas was the top state tweeting with the hashtag, although Bachelor star, Catherine Lowe, might have helped.

Pizza Hut hit the right audience with their tweets, this audience is 6.75x more likely to be interested in Contests & Freebies than the average Twitter audience.

Pizza Hut was the #1 brand of this audience, other top brands include McDonalds, Taco Bell, Coca-Cola, and Doritos.

Country super star, Blake Shelton, is currently Pizza Hut’s spokesperson, appearing in some commercials. The top celebrities for this audience were Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus.

This audience does like country music (48.8%) though, and is 1.86x more likely to like Blake Shelton, compared to @PizzaHut’s followers who are 2.7x more likely to like Shelton.
