#TheVoice Sponsors Win Big in Season 8

Sawyer Fredericks was crowned season 8 winner of NBC’s The Voice on Tuesday night. As one of the most successful reality TV shows, The Voice has some big name sponsors, Sprint, Starbucks, and Nissan.


We tracked the conversation around the show the night of the season premiere and the night of the finale to compare the affinity for each sponsor and found the following:

  • 43% lift in affinity for Starbucks
  • 205% lift in affinity for Sprint
  • 53% lift in affinity for Nissan

The number one interest of this audience is Country Music, followed by Celebrity Gossip, and Classic Rock. The number one brand is Maroon5 and they are 23x more likely to like Country Weekly compared to the Twitter average.
