In the run-up to witnessing the Patriots face off against the Rams in Super Bowl LIII, the StatSocial audience analysis tool has been working overtime. We’ve calculated a ton of insights into the fans of every NFL team, and we’ve been sharing them here in a series of entries.

This time out we’ll be diving into the credit card preferences of each team’s audience.

What does the below graphic tell us?

We analyzed hundreds of thousands of each squad’s fans, focusing on those who actively display a fondness for and/or loyalty to one (or more) of the cards featured here: Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.

Looking at things from a league-wide perspective, the NFL’s credit card using fans, on the whole, demonstrate a clear preference for Mastercard. Visa surely holds strong, though, even being the most popular card with fans of the Atlanta Falcons.
