Twitter Expands it’s Social TV Offerings in Europe

Twitter has acquired Mesagraph and SecondSync to expand its social TV business in Europe. Instead of building a presence and relationships from scratch, Twitter will use relationships these companies already have to expand it’s social TV business.

Mesagraph is a France based company that provides meaningful insights from topics that have been tweeted about. Mesagraph already has relationships with French TV Networks Canal+, France Televisions, M6, and TF1.

SecondSync is based in the UK and provides real-time insights around a social conversation. SecondSync has recently announced a partnership with Facebook in January, there is no word on how this will affect the acquisition.
